SC Lowy strengthens DCM business with key appointments in Hong Kong
Katherine Pang and Bailey Yi to form a new team under Head of DCM Florian Schmidt signaling SC Lowy’s commitment to Asia’s high-yield capital markets
11 August 2015 Hong Kong – SC Lowy, the only independent fixed income specialist with full investment bank capabilities, has strengthened its Debt Capital Markets business with two key appointments.
Katherine Pang joins SC Lowy from UBS where she most recently held the position of Director, Global Capital Markets. Ms Pang brings broad experience leading execution of a wide range of high yield and unrated transactions across currencies within the Asian region, especially Greater China.
Bailey Yi joins SC Lowy from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she most recently held the position of Analyst, Leveraged Finance. At BAML, Ms Yi helped structure and execute high yield bond offerings and term loans for non-investment grade corporate issuers from a variety of industries in the United States.
Ms Pang and Ms Li will report to Florian Schmidt, SC Lowy’s Head of Debt Capital Markets.

Both appointments represent an important expansion of SC Lowy’s DCM capabilities and underscore the firm’s ability to attract top talent from bulge bracket financial institutions.
