MOVES-SC Lowy hires Revill to head London office
By Christopher Spink
Richie Revill has been appointed head of markets, Europe at SC Lowy. He will also be in charge of the Hong Kong-headquartered firm’s London office.
Revill, who most recently was co-head of distressed and credit special situations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Barclays, will also work closely with Jamie Tadelis and Simon Clairet, managing sales globally.
Before Barclays, Revill was head of EMEA distressed distribution at Bank of America. He has also worked in high-yield at Chase Manhattan.
SC Lowy has expanded in Europe over the last few years. A year ago, it hired Tristan Laurencin as head loan trader for EMEA from Nomura, and in 2018 it bought a 90% stake in Italian bank Credito di Romagna for around €50m.
SC Lowy was set up in 2009 by former Deutsche Bank staffers Michel Lowy and Soo Cheon Lee.
